Currently Obsessed With...

After months of struggling with our cable company and having them constantly increase our bill whenever they felt like it, we decided to give up cable altogether. Instead, we now pay for Netflix to watch movies and documentaries, and Hulu Plus for TV shows. Cable was really unnecessary anyway because the only time we'd ever watch TV before was to watch a handful of shows we loved. Why are we paying for 1000+ channels and we only watch about 5 shows consistently?

Over the course of the last few months we have fallen in love with a few shows. We typically pick a series, watch all of the episodes, and then move on to the next series. Our favorites so far have been New Girl, Last Man Standing, Up All Night, Man Up, and of course, Modern Family.

Our most recent find, and a seriously good one, has been Community. It has an awesome cast of characters played by Joel Mchale, Ken Jeong, Chevy Chase and others. There are also lots of fun guest stars including Patton Oswald, Drew Carey, Andy Dick, and the fabulous Betty White. Danny Pudi, the man who plays Abed, is FANTASTIC and our personal favorite.

We started at the beginning with Season 1, and I highly recommend doing that. There are lots of inside jokes that continue through the episodes and it helps to get a good understanding of each characters personalities and quirks.

The end credits are usually unrelated to the rest of the show, but are hysterical, and often our favorite part. Here is an example:
